New adventures with a motorhome

There are a lot of new people who have discovered my blog recently, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce -or reintroduce- myself:

Hi, I’m Sabine, 👋 the person behind the blog Andalusia / Axarquia Mi Amor.

I love coffee in the morning & a glass of wine with dinner. I am rubbish in the kitchen andvery thankful for my passionate chef husband who keeps us alive with his healthy (and sometimes not so healthy) food creations. We enjoy walking at the beach with our rescue dog RockY, we are playing Padel & Golf. And we have a new challenge 👇

What brought us to southern Spain? In 2018 - after living in London for 15 years - we came to the Axarquia region (30 kilometres east of Malaga) by accident. Or was the universe guiding us? We decided to take a sabbatical year, and then the pandemic hit. Andalusia is clearly not a bad place to spend the years 2020 and 2021, but being passionate traveller’s and used to live a dynamic and active life, we are pleased that the borders are open again.

👉 To compensate the last two years - and with ‚freedom‘ and ‚independence‘ our highest values - we decided to start a new adventure and take our travel experiences to the next level: we bought a motorhome!

As we never had a motorhome before there is a lot to learn. Until June we plan to go on short trips in Andalusia, and maybe even Morocco. In July and August we want to escape the summer heat and plan to travel the Baltic countries Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

📣 Sounds good? If we don’t use the motorhome: We are renting it out, too. Get in touch if interested, it has the perfect size for couples.
